Maxtrac has two types of lowering kits for the Silverado. On DJM kits, new control arms are used in combination with the factory shocks and springs to give the front of your 2019+ Silverado a 3 or 4” drop in the front, whichever you choose to go with. If you are going with a conservative drop, you will only need a few components, but if you are going for a larger drop, you will need more components. When lowering a Silverado (static), you will need to know what components you will need for the specific drop you are trying to achieve. What You Need To Lower A Chevrolet Silverado This usually involves some custom work, so today, we are going to focus on just the static drop. If you are wanting to get a custom look and be able to adjust you suspension on the fly, air suspension is the way to go. A static drop is a non-adjustable lowering kit that gives you a specified amount of drop in the front and rear. If you are simply wanting the most affordable and easy way to lower your Silverado, a static drop is what you need.
